Changes: Prices will now be processed in AU Dollars

Due to the conversion rate at the moment from USD to AUD (I’m an Aussie!) I’ve decided to swap over my price list from $US to $AU. I’m simply losing too much with bigger amounts that I’m charging!

I decided to start out with US Dollars when I started my designs because most of my customers were from the US and at the time I was getting a few more cents out of it with the higher conversion rates. Sadly, over the last year or two, this has not been the case – and while I AM glad we have a strong Aussie dollar when it comes to online shopping – as mentioned before, I’m simply losing too much with the conversion AND Paypal taking it’s little cut.

So from now on, the price list will reflect Australian Dollars. If this does cause a problem for you, please mention so in the email when you order and we can work something out. But, I hope it will all be fine!

Sarah @ A Bookish Girl

Another layout I finished this week was for Sarah at A Bookish Girl. Inspired by Sarah’s request for some real girli-ness when creating the layout, I went with something that reminds me of an old-fashioned beauty parlor or something like that, haha. I’m really happy with how it turned out, very dramatic with it’s black offsets, and it may just be one of my favourite layouts I’ve made so far! I’m also thrilled that Sarah is as happy with it as I am!

Steph @ Poetry to Prose II

This is the second layout I have made for Steph and I’m quite happy with how it turned out! Minimal and functional in soft, summery green tones with a splash of blood orange! Steph emailed me with some colour palettes she was fond of and I selected this funky one called ‘Wasabi Suicide’ – you can view it here – the idea for this layout instantly came to me, and I think it’s quite different from the others I’ve made so far as the navigation is at the top of the sidebar, along with the ‘about me’ section for the blogger, followed by the dual sidebars!

I’ve decided to open up orders again for certain sites (wordpress fansites, small personal sites, etc.) Please understand that now I’m in University, I have a pretty high workload and therefore cannot dedicate a lot of time to larger sites and professional sites. I want to be able to explore the ‘fun’ side of design again before getting into the nitty gritty deadline sort of stuff.

If you want something designed, please fill out the form or shoot me an email! At the moment I’m currently not doing coppermine layouts. They personally take too much time and effort and I’m not up to that at the moment.

Hiatus

Just wanted to let you all know that I’ve put my designs on a hiatus. I’m re-applying to university this week after getting off a rather long holiday, so I apologize for any inconvenience. I will let you know when I am re-opening my order requests.

If you’ve tried to contact me: I have probably received your email but I haven’t gotten around to cleaning out around 100 or so messages in my design inbox. Please do not hassle me about your order like so many of you are doing. I will get down to business when I see another free period of time approaching.
